Cookies and Cream Deliciousness

After a crazy busy month of trips to Melbourne, Wilson’s bunny rabbit cake, 21st cupcakes for The Boy’s sister and a 3 tier Mad Hatter’s Cake, I managed to sneak in a quick cake for Kim’s birthday. 

Not wanting the cake to be too rich, I decided on a delicate vanilla butter cake for the base and filled and covered the cake with a crunchy Oreo studded butter cream (whiz up a packet of Oreos in the food processor and combine with a vanilla buttercream). To add another element to the cake, I covered the top of the cake with a decadent chocolate drizzle and topped it all off with crumbled Oreos.
