About Lena

I have a minor nervous breakdown with almost every cake that I make but love seeing the end result (case in point, my brain couldn't understand how to carve a 3D bear out of a round cake - luckily the boy was on hand and came to my rescue). I love music but you will only catch me singing when I am by myself or in front of a crowd of people. My last name has a silent 's' - one of my pet hates is people asking me how to spell it and then looking at me like I am making it up. The smell of jasmine reminds me of my childhood. I grew up on a sheep, cattle and crop farm in Orange, NSW.

Growing up I wanted to be a teacher, a vet, a forensic police officer, a marine biologist and a paramedic. I am now a production manager at a fantastic little advertising agency and get to work with a great group of girls every day.

The boy and I have been together for over 13 years. We live in a tiny little house not equipped for baking and decorating but we laugh our way through it pretty decent size house now much better equipped for making cakes but we laugh our way through it and still have a good chuckle along the way.
