Baked a Cake

October was well and truly birthday month at work which gave me an excuse to try out a few techniques including a fluro pink ganache and brown sugar buttercream – so I decided to make a donut cake, which ended up resembling the Simpsons donut, complete with sprinkles.

Kim’s birthday was celebrated on a Wednesday so the cake would not have been complete without a camel topper.

Next time, I think I will make the ganache a little thinner so it runs down the cake a little better but I was so happy with the colour!
