Baked a Cake

Cake and flowers - what more could a girl want? Today I thought I would take you back to where it all began with a cute little cupcake bouquet. This little posy was the result of my first lesson at Sugar Rush, and had me hooked.

I learnt how to pipe swirl roses, full roses and begonias with different tips and a clever flick of the wrist. I also learnt that for a cold frog I have hot little hands - which made the buttercream difficult to pipe. I was so happy with the results though! The boy even said that it was almost too pretty to eat - almost.

I'm so glad I spotted that little Sugar Rush shop on my way to work every day and asked for a gift voucher for classes for Christmas. That one little class turned out to be so rewarding.
