Baked a Cake

Isn't she lovely! There's something about the simplicity of this cake that just makes me swoon...  
I am so excited about sharing these stunning shots from a recent collaboration with two of my amazingly talented friends - MJK Creative and Autumn Kisses Floral Design.

I knew I wanted to create a romantic and dramatic tiered wedding cake as soon as we started planning our styled shoot - I just love the softness and grandeur. 

I wan't to incorporate a little bit of colour in the bottom tier so I painted it with a light pink water colour and paired it back again by adding a detailed wafer paper stencil over the top. The perfect posies that Gill created for this cake's first look were just perfect. Snowberry, roses, lisianthus and the most amazing antique carnation - oh my!
