Baked a Cake

I loved this colour palette and felt like a bit of a tiler creating this little cake for my lovely friends 40th ????

Gill sent me a couple of photos and a colour palette for inspiration but the end result was a complete surprise and in her own words 'very me'! it was so good to hear I'd gotten it all right. After researching geometric patterns, taking a lot of inspiration from amazing bathroom tiles, I finally chose a pattern and set on hand cutting and painting the individual diamonds. 

The cake was a raspberry and rose water vanilla cake with white chocolate ganache, hand painted using Edible Art Paint.
