Baked a Cake

Last month I knocked up this quick cake for the Boy’s brother’s girlfriend, Alex. The Boy’s brother, Jace, asked if I would be able to recommend somewhere to buy a Dalmatian topper for a cake. To give myself some figurine practice I offered to make a little replica of Alex’s much beloved Dalmatian, Spencer (complete with a polka dot bow tie). Little Spencer sat proudly on top of a 6 inch chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream icing complete with black fondant spots.

Alex couldn’t bear to part with her little sugar spencer so I told her she could keep him forever. I love being able to play a part in someone’s birthday joy!
